A simple spring outfit
Happy Sunday everyone!
Today has been such a sunny day, it's making me so excited for summer to come!
Personally, I tend to wear a lot of black in the winter days, so now spring is coming and the sun is shining brighter, I feel I want to wear pops of colour or just brighter clothing to get in that summer sunshine mood (am I the only one?), whilst still feeling comfortable in what I'm wearing.
Here's a simple spring outfit that I've pieced together that I feel comfortable in wearing and adds that 'spring' vibe for my personal look.
White t-shirt with black trim from ASOS (£10)
White Adidas Trainers with Mint Green detailing (I bought these last summer but I can't find a link anywhere for them anymore😭)
I'm not much of a blue denim jean kind of gal - I always just seem to find it looks weird on me (or I can't ever feel comfortable that my outfit matches when I do try wear blue denim jeans), so a blue denim jacket works for me - I still get the pop of colour whilst feeling comfortable wearing my black leggings!
Also, these black leggings from Uniqlo are my absolute favourite - they are super comfortable and they're really long lasting (I've had a pair of these for over 3 years, with continuous daily use out of them!) And yes, I do have multiple pairs of these leggings. They're just the best...
White is also a great colour for me to feel brighter and better for the spring and sunshine - although it isn't really a 'pop of colour', it's still a bright colour that makes me feel more excited for the summertime. (yes it is a monochrome colour but wearing more white over black really does make a difference😉)
I think something as simple as this is great to just transition into spring and say goodbye to the dark winter days - plus its just a nice, simple outfit to wear whether you're meeting friends for coffee or just going out to run errands.
Hope you all enjoyed reading this post! Please comment on any improvements I could make and anything you loved!
